MISSION
Doorway Arts Ensemble is a theater production company whose mission is to provide quality, meaningful, provocative and socially relevant work. We invite artists to create in a collaborative, supportive environment that welcomes bold, risk taking, fresh ideas and intimate, passionate performances.
Through staged readings and theatrical productions, this company is committed to:
- Showcasing emerging professional actors, directors, playwrights, and theater technical staff throughout the Washington DC area and the region.
- Using a multidisciplinary and collaborative ensemble approach to bring a unique
perspective to existing and new works. - Utilizing multi-ethnic and non-traditional casting whenever possible.

Claire Myles is the founder and producer of Doorway Arts Ensemble. She has been active in the theater arts community throughout the Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area for the past seven years. Ms. Myles has experience in commercial, theater, film acting and has assisted in producing and stage managing professional theater. She has studied acting through Studio Theater Acting Conservatory, Theater Lab, The Shakespeare Theatre and with a variety of professional acting coaches in the area. She is also an active member of the DC metro area non-profit organization, The Actors' Center. |
